Return To Kalali Cove
Book #1 of the Kalali House book series
Erected in 1864, the old Victorian house located in the small coastal community of Kalali Cove, remains atop the Pacific Coast cliff overlooking the beautiful cove, and active wharf. It has endured the trials of war, settled in the easy days of peace, and withstood the notorious 1906 San Francisco earthquake. For decades it sheltered residents as they celebrated the joys of life, and mourned the challenging moments of truth.
Now the grand place is being renovated by the new owners, Dee Dee and Jasmine, two lifelong best friends from San Francisco. To assist them, they've hired the Kaufman brothers, owners of a local restoration and preservation construction company. Together they will work to bring the house back to the state it was in its glory days of the 19th century.
The house comes alive during the renovation when a journal is found in a secret compartment hidden within the Captain's Chambers. Bits and pieces of a vintage past are revealed as the two best friends, and the Kaufman brothers, grow eager to solve the mystery that unfolds.
